About

Di'mond Qai is an interdisciplinary artist and writer who constantly explores how she can adapt the forms and mediums she is familiar with, for new approaches and understandings within her work and surrounding it. This exploration led her to join WOC art collective RIOT SOUP and become a program Producer for Today at Apple, centring impacting the lives of underrepresented and vulnerable communities through creative production.As a Creative Producer Di'mond facilitates inspiring and accessible opportunities and moments of interaction with a wide variety of artists, across various career stages and disciplines. She implements strategic thinking with creativity to develop vibrant series' of live events suitable alongside an international team.Having utilised being an artist herself with creative professional experience within Dance, Theatre, Visual Arts, and Tech she is continuously seeking out new work that lives within the intersections of disciplines, industries and thought paths - embracing creativity, authenticity and strategy to further the impact of honest engagement and storytelling with audiences and communities globally.Her career has also seen her facilitate creative Zine workshops for the marketing campaign of award winning films Queen & Slim and Rocks, host workshops as part of art collective RIOT SOUP at Tate Modern and engage with communities across the UK facilitating zine workshops to improve the reach of Arts & Culture, most recently having hosted a masterclass for 13-16 year olds attending National Saturday Club within Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art.She continues to use her experience within the Arts to speak at I&D employability programming internal and external panels - including frequently at Somerset House and UAL.As an avid poet and article writer, Qai uses these forms to better understand the world around her and actively use her voice to raise awareness of social causes, communities and movements and as a way to develop her abstract thinking.As an extremely collaborative artist, she is seeking work with other creatives and academics who challenge the status quo in new and interesting ways, regardless of whether their approaches seem “compatible” or not.She currently seeks to further explore architecture, film, and artificial intelligence respectively alongside a multitude of other mediums and focuses.Get in touch!

Ideated, curated, delivered and evaluated a new experiential public studio programme of multidisciplinary events, pushing big ideas, expanding local reach and actioning team strategy

Strategise, execute, facilitate and envisage year-long activity of the art collective including exhibitions, workshops, residencies and community activities including co-producing out Tate Lates session.
